NORTHEAST REGION, La. — Louisiana Delta Community College (LDCC) is pleased to announce the launch of the Louisiana Delta Alumni Association, an initiative designed to strengthen connections among graduates, celebrate alumni achievements, and foster continued engagement with the college and the communities it serves.
The Louisiana Delta Alumni Association will provide a way for former students to remain connected to LDCC and stay informed about the college’s continued growth and development. The mission of the Louisiana Delta Alumni Association is to build lasting relationships that celebrate alumni achievement, support student success, and advance the mission of LDCC.
“Our alumni will always be an important part of LDCC’s story. Through the Alumni Association, we hope to strengthen that lasting connection to the college and foster a continued sense of pride and belonging among our graduates,” says Louisiana Delta Alumni Association Advisor, Lynne Free. “Our tagline, ‘Once a Knight, always a Knight,’ reflects the enduring bond our alumni share with LDCC, reminding them that they will always have a place in our college community.”
Members of the Alumni Association gain access to resources, opportunities, and updates that help them remain involved in the college community. First, the free tier of membership provides alumni with access to the LDCC Alumni Association newsletter which features job openings, local events, and volunteer opportunities throughout the region. The free tier members can also take advantage of LDCC’s career services resources, and also may be featured in newsletter spotlights that celebrate their achievements and contributions to their communities.
For $25 per year, Knighthood tier members receive all the benefits of free membership, plus an LDCC Alumni Association T-shirt, access to social media alumni spotlight opportunities, and exclusive professional development sessions and materials designed to support continued career growth and professional success.
